Services Offered

My current services are listed below; however, please check back as I continue to grow my practice and expand my offerings. Each service listed below requires its own separate disclosures and consent forms.  During our consultation, we will get clarity on how I can best support you.  I will then provide you with the proper forms and additional instructions prior to our initial session. Please note that I am only offering telehealth services at this time.

Counseling (or Psychotherapy)

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, I offer 50-minute telehealth sessions for individuals, couples, and families (rates vary).  During our sessions, I aim to provide a safe, open and non-judgmental environment in which you can heal from past traumas; identify and resolve undesirable patterns; and cultivate the best version of yourself.  Please note that the terms psychotherapy, therapy and counseling are used interchangeably on this website (and in much of the mental health world).  Unlike coaching, therapy can address mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders; trauma; family-of-origin issues; and toxic relationships or interpersonal issues.

Limited Legal Services

As an Attorney licensed to practice in WA-State, I offer limited legal services, consisting of document review, legal research, and consulting.  This is a separate service, offered apart from counseling or coaching. In some situations, I may also be able to provide unbundled (limited scope representation) legal services.  A consultation will clarify whether I can provide assistance, and if I am unable to do so, I will try to find an appropriate referral through my network.

Coaching

I also offer coaching services to clients seeking to maximize their personal, relational or professional potential. While similar in many ways to counseling or traditional therapy, it is important to remember that coaching is NOT therapy. Coaching is more focused on the present and future (vs. the past), and is most appropriate for clients who are feeling stagnant personally or professionally.

Coaching may involve a variety of techniques, but generally involves the following steps:

  • verbalize desires and define goals for the future

  • develop a plan that utilizes the client's skills

  • keep the client accountable and on task

  • provide structure, encouragement and support

If you are unsure what level of support you need (i.e. therapy vs. coaching), I can provide further information during a free 20-minute consultation.
